Good job! Thank you. I need to be a bit more assertive in my guesses as I did have some of those missing words as potentials. Thanks much for the "my wife Disposeing". I thought that was her name and couldn't make it out...then he names his wife later as Mary. So, lost on that word!

Many thanks, HD!

Hmmmm. Any idea what this means? he's talking about his wife Mary and his daughter Mary and then
some money that is ...

...For Standeth of her ffather Corne and Some money which I owe him ffor the blacke Colt...

...is for the cleere passage betwixt him & Mary my wife

I assume the last part is just for a right-of way. Is he referring in the first sentence to his wife's father do you think?

It's not completely clear to me either.

His last bequest is the rest of his estate (minus the funeral etc).  Of this he identifies Three pound thirteen shillings fourpence for a specific purpose - to repay money in which he stands due to her (his wife's) father for corn and another debt for the Colt.  That's one interpretation...

I agree that the second item identified - the oxgang - appears to be to secure a right-of-way.

I think we can agree on that. It was the terms "for standeth of her father" that are confusing. But, I think that's a good interpretation. Doesn't really add anything essential anyway.

When I'm done with these wills, I may move on to Land Deeds, so these bits may prove more useful later.

Many thanks!!
