Robert P. Weir married a Nora A Bryant in 1935, Wycombe R.D. Bucks.

1939 Register has them in Brize Norton.  Witney R.D.

I don't know the p.o.b of Robert, but Nora Annie Bryant was born 1895, High Wycombe.

I have her parents and siblings etc. But no marriage cert for her.

Is there anything in Brize Norton for deaths or burials please.

There is a probate record for  Nora Annie Hopkins of Whittington Eventide Home Medmerham Near Marlow Buckinghamshire died 5 July 1960 mentions a husband George Hopkins

There is a marriage for a Nora A Weir Jul-Aug 1958 Wycombe
Spouse George Hopkin
Maybe worth while getting certificates to check if this is your relation

There is several tree's on Anc; with a birth  for Robert Porter Weir 1891 Liverpool married to your Nora ..This appears to be his second marriage he was married first to Elsie Mabel J Wilkinson 1913 Alverstoke ..Must have been divorced as she marries again also ...Checked the GRO Record for birth for Robert Weir 1892 Toxteth Park mother's maiden name Coutts ...Mary Ellen Coutts married William Weir 10/6/1889 Liverpool

As Robert and Nora had one child Marion who was born and died in High Wycombe, there appears to be no other issue, so I won't carry this any further.

I guess this thread is now completed as far as I'm concerned.
