I think this might be her with her a husband Andrew J McCarthy. The 1930 census states she immigrated in 1926 (matches) and they have been married 1 year.

1940 census: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K9DC-F96

The birth records for the 2 twins on 1940 census confirms their mother maiden name as O'Mahony

A California naturalization record for Kathleen Mary McCarthy that matches the husband and children on the census records that RJ137 found has Kathleen's birth as 31 Mar. 1902 in Cork.  It says she and Andrew Jeremiah (born 24 Feb. 1889 in Cork) were married 22 Jun. 1929 in San Francisco.  It says she sailed as Catherine Mahony and arrived 5 Nov. 1926 on the Republic.

Thank you Shelley great work I notice on 1940 Census there is a Maria Mannix listed nearby who would be Kathleens Aunt.Where could I find an obituary for Kathleen? On the death record it gives Kathleen being born 1907 when in fact it was 1902. :)

I'm sure the issue with the birthdate could be a transcription error or the informant giving incorrect information.  Everything else seems to match.

The San Francisco library will do free obituary look-ups.  http://sfpl.org/?pg=2000049301

Tks Shelly will contact the library for obit. Could you check if Kathleen had another child (have photo marked Jeannie could be Regina b. c. 1945 photo was marked Koehne Chicago photographer.  There was also a Nun spoken of in family Im thinking could it be Kathleen Mary daughter born 29 Nov 1932 1 of twins brother Andrew Joseph McCarthy. Tks again for your invaluable help

There were 2 births in San Francisco 194/46 - one female and 1 male - maiden surname of mother was Mahoney.  Cannot name on here, hopefully still living. Will send you a pm with the names.
