Try an upside down pic and see if it posts straight?
Now it is saying that there is a picture with the same file name even though I have renamed the file and rotated it so it is upside down to see if uploads the right way!
No, it is still coming up error. 
I will try putting them on a page and see if that helps.

They all look fine to me Carol. Whatever you did seems to have worked. 

Now I'm going to have a good close look at them.

Added: the pages of text might be a little blurry when enlarged, but I am on my ipad at the moment so it might just be me.    See how others get on.

I scanned them in order but because I had trouble uploading and had to result to  putting it in a document the whole thing went to pot so they are just random pages.  I will rescan the first and last pages later and post them.  If you would like anything else posted just let me know. 

I did notice that it is easier to read on screen and there are some other names.  I will be interested to know what you think Ruskie - enjoy.
