John Cartwright b 1859 Stafford
« on: Monday 10 April 17 18:43 BST (UK) »
John appears in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census living the Backwalls in Stafford but then disappears. I would be grateful if someone can help to find him in the later censuses. He may have left Stafford for Leicester as 3 of his brothers moved there.

Many thanks

John would have been about 22 in 1881.  What was his occupation on the census?  Could he have emigrated or joined the army?  That could explain why he has not been found after 1881.

Thanks Zen Rabbit. I don't think these Johns belong to the same family that I am interested in - however I do appreciate your help.

Many thanks
