William Hewitt Death 1843
« on: Saturday 15 April 17 19:57 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone knows the age of William Hewitt Burial service 15th May 1843 All Saints Leamington Priors.

I Know there are two on the GRO one saying 1 which could be a month or year. Also 1 saying 48.

Hi that burial ( transcription) shows William as aged 61 born 1782, which is the one I see as shown on the GRO as aged 48?

That is brilliant Keyboard.

I needed to convince the person I am helping out with this that her relation was buried in Combroke 17/10/1843 aged 48.She found that one on family search and because her William lived in Leamington at one time as well she thought it was him and also because his wife died in Leamington in 1865 and isn't buried in Combroke.I presume she is the one buried January and will probably be in Leamington Cemetery.

My William was born in 1795 at Combro(o)ke his parents were Thomas and Elizabeth. He married an Elizabeth Unknown(could be Walsgrove or Wincott). His parents buried Thomas 26/8/1850 aged 69.Elizabeth 10/6/1857 aged 55.All at Combroke

So the William buried 17/10/1843 at Combroke aged 48 (from the Parish records myself)has to be him. Although June qtr doesn't seem right.

The one that says March qtr aged one as to be the 61 year old surely.
