confused over the what looks like "St Louis" bit now - is that a church address??

got another two from 1911 now:

St Caroline, Picketts Rd, Eastwood (is that now Picketts Avenue)

and

"Herbert Dene", Lansdowne Avenue, Leigh Road West

when did they start using numbers on houses there ?!?
