Abram/Abraham and Rose Schechowitz. They left Glasgow in 1909 and I have no records from them apart from their passenger manifest.

A possible NY entry for them in 1930 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X4JJ-T5F and 1940 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K3YH-7WX

Is this wife Rose's death details in 1939? https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2WTV-4LJ Her surname on this is showing as Schechwitz. Is she therefore connected to Abram/Abraham (and wife Rose) Schechowitz? Also Moses/Morris, Chaje/Clara, and Barnett/Barney Schechowitz.

Sarah, showing as daughter in 1915 to Morris and Rose, no sign of her later is there  :-\

Isodere, son born in Scotland in 1920 - is this Isaac born in scotland? 1930 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X76T-RSS  and 1920 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MJR9-MLH  You have these entries I am sure, just adding here for background.

Monica

Yes, these are them. I think I did a poor job of explaining their relationship to each other. Moses Shechowitz and Clara Mail were married and had five children, Sarah (Goldberg), Rachel (Weinbloom), Rose (Kapit), Abraham Schechowitz, and Barney Schechowitz. Their families are the ones I am researching, plus Israel Mail who I assume is Clara's nephew.

I have most of their US census and some death records, but I'm trying to find records from before they went to the US, which are proving elusive.

Possible death for Israel Mail in 1960 at the age of 70 in the Cathcart area of Glasgow. Have you looked at this image to check what it may say re his parents' names?

I have no experience in what is to be found in UK naturalization docs. Is this Israel's here http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C11797928

Is the death record on ScotlandsPeople? I have not seen it.

That is Israel's naturalization record. I am hoping to go to London later this year so I will have to wait to see it.

RE TNA's entry for the naturalization docs, have you considered requesting a quote for photocopying of what is there? http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/pagecheck/start/C11797928

Thank you for the tip, Monica. I just purchased the death record and it has a more complete version of his parents' names than I had previously. I haven't requested a photocopying quote, I figured it would be cheaper just to do it when I am there. But maybe I am too impatient!
