Edward and Henry J Riley and their mother Lucy Rily

My great uncles Edward born 1892 and Henry born 1890 in St Helens Lancashire. I know they were taken to Canada around 1905. prior to that they had been in a children's home in Yorkshire. I have never been able to find a death or marriage cert for their mother and wonder if she had joined them in Canada as a family member has found a record for a Lucy Riley in Chapleau Ontario and that is where the boys lived when they got older. any help would be truly appreciated.

Lucy was single when she had the boys?  Is she around in 1901 do you know her age?

Henry and Edward went to Canada on 4th August 1905 on the ship Bananan

I can find a birth record for a Henry James mmn Smith in 1891 but can't find Edward

Frank Riley and Lucy Smith (birthplace Norwich) were married in 1883

thank you everyone. they are the right Edward and Henry born to Frank and Lucy whose maiden name was smith. Frank and Lucy had split up by then after he had been in prison released around 1900 and he went living with his sister Mary. Lucy is last on the 1901 census with her children her oldest son Frank being the head of house age 19 but after that there is no records for her at all that I have been able to find.
