Did you look at the Workhouses website?

On the page there for Edmonton, it states:

Records

Note: many repositories impose a closure period of up to 100 years for records identifying individuals.

The Ancestry website has two collections of London workhouse records:
The London Workhouse Admission and Discharge Records (1738-1930) are searchable by name.
The Poor Law and Board of Guardian Records, 1430-1930 are more extensive but only provide browsable page images.

The FindMyPast website has workhouse / poor law records for Westminster.

London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, London EC1R OHB.
Edmonton Union: Guardians' minutes (1837-1930); Lists of paupers (1879-1930); Lists of pauper children (1919-30); Register of emigrants (1925).
Edmonton House: Births (1886-95); Creed registers (1876, 1881-1938)
        Enfield House: Creed registers (1908-40)
        Chase Farm: Creed registers (1887-1907)

Enfield Local Studies, Enfield Town Library, Thomas Hardy House, 39 London Road, Enfield, Middlesex EN2 6DS. Has Edmonton Board of Guardians Minutes (1908-30, printed).

I spoke to the LMA yesterday and the item mentioned on the workhouses site attributed to the LMA does not exist within their collection.

You will find some baptisms recorded in the pages of the baptism register of St James Upper Edmonton.

The baptisms can be fou d by browsing the images, then look at the last image of the year.

It may be worthwhile contacting the workhouses site and ask them where they got the specific details from.

On Ancestry, search for London baptisms in the card catalogue and select those for 1813-1906.

Once there, select Enfield from the borough box and St James Upeer Edmonton from the parish list.

You can then select a year from the next box, scroll though all the pages as some of the entries are out of sequence.

Dawn
I have found my grandads baptism , thank you

In the Edmonton workhouse register is there any way of find a birth register list or children that were there
Instead of going through the whole list for 1892

Thanks Simon

If you go to this document from the LMA

https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/london-metropolitan-archives/family-history/Documents/london-metropolitan-archives-enfield-london-generations-guide.pdf

and start at page 111 you can see what the LMA has in its collection.

You will note that the information you are looking for has either not survived or is not at the LMA.

If you refer back to KGarrad's reply #11 you will see there is no mention on the workhouses.org.site of the documents you are looking for
