Victorian Uniform Idenitification
« on: Sunday 23 April 17 11:37 BST (UK) »
I was wondering if anybody might be able to tell me anything about this man based on his uniform and an approximate date for the photo?

I would be most grateful for any help.

Royal Artillery 1890's, but better wait for confirmation from experts.

Amendment: Goes for 1880's too. I think the pork pie hats were replaced by side caps late 1890's.

1890's fits nicely with the card design & backdrop.
