I think I know who the subjects are in this photo, but I can't be sure.

Can anyone please help with a rough date from their clothing and/or the details of the Photographic Studio?

I think it is early 1900's, probably the first decade.

Looking at this from another viewpoint....

George Aynsley was at 3, Glover Terrace, South Shields in the 1881 census.

In the 1891 census he was at Ocean Road, South Shields.

He died aged 71 in 1900.

So, unless someone else was using up his cardstock this photo must pre-date 1900

Minor correction - a bit more searching reveals that Glover Terrace was on Ocean Road. So looks likely he was at the same address in 1881 and 1891.
