Hi

Looking for a Marie Miroux b. c 1801 Valenciennes, France.

She was briefly mentioned in another post by me recently.. http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=765188.0
Jayaygee kindly made some input, unfortunately nothing found..

Have recently found this site, if anyone can advise how to use it, it would be appreciated..

Many thanks
Geoff

Click on a subsection (i.e. births) and then use "Search in this Index"

You can also search all the indexes from here:
https://en.geneanet.org/collaborative-indexes

I didn't see any likely births for a Marie Miroux (note: some indexed records use the French Republican Calendar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Republican_Calendar  which you'll need to know about to search around 1801)

If her family were from somewhere near Valenciennes, but not actually in Valenciennes, it could be quite difficult to locate her.
