BOON/SPENCER
« on: Sunday 07 May 17 08:23 BST (UK) »
I have a Leila K Boon who appears to have married under the name Patricia to Eric H James and they had a child Christopher Spencer H James.

This appears to be right as hubby remembers a cousin by the name of Chris whose mother was called Pat.

Is anybody researching this family, would be really pleased to hear from you, as I am interested in Leila/Patricia's life, she was my mother in law's half sister.

All now deceased

I am glad you both have the same thoughts as me, I wondered why she changed her name to Patricia.  I thought Christopher had married Sandra Tyler with the resultant children but I have written to every Sandra James or what I thought were her siblings and have drawn a blank.

Possibility that she didn't like the name Leila, and hey  :-\

She is still Leila in 1939, and has a younger sister.

Strange - sorry, I can't give full details for 1911 census:

Robert and Eliza have a "relative" in the household aged 1 = Boon
George Ernest and Alice Eliza married 2 years, no children

Birth registration - December quarter 1909 - Boon - mmn = Boast
