Doncaster Hyde Park Cemetery
« on: Wednesday 10 May 17 09:36 BST (UK) »
Hi. We understand my husbands Grandparents were buried in the above Cemetary, is their an index we could find the location?

HOLROYD, Joe b. 1884/5 d. 25-8-1943
His wife
HOLROYD, Bessie May (maybe Elizabeth) nee Hesselwood b. 1883 d. 1956

There is a possibility Joe's father was also buried there
WIlliam Henry Holroyd b. 1844 d. Jun 1920 and his wife Sarah b. 1843 nee Turner, whose death record I have not been able to locate yet.

Many thanks
Kay Simpkins

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

As you have a specific date for Joe Holroyd, you could try Doncaster Council

http://www.doncaster.gov.uk/services/births-marriages-deaths-nationality/record-search-for-burials-or-cremation

looks like they both charge for look-ups though  :-\

I would send the form off to the council without payment first.
