Harry Tilney

Harry Tilney was born in Sheffield in 1917 and died there in 2009. He served in the Army during the Second World War and yet I can't find his military records in ancestry.co.uk

He probably joined the Royal Engineers, in the Catering Corps. Thanks for any help.
