German POW in England in ww2
« on: Thursday 11 May 17 16:00 BST (UK) »
My Brother-in-Law (now deceased) was a German POW here in England thought to be from Kostryn when he met my wife's sister. Can anyone help me find his Date of Birth, are there records I can search of the POW's, is there a site in Germany I should communicate with, any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.

There are at least two towns in modern Poland with the name of Kostrzyn:

1. Kostrzyn (German: Kostschin) near Poznan.

2. Kostrzyn nad Odrą (on river Oder) German: Küstrin, south of Szczecin.
