The family is thus:
George Craven (b. 1786 Wakefield, d. 1878 Birkenhead) and Mary Ogden (b. abt 1784 Wakefield, d. ?). George and Mary married in 1806. Their issue (all born in Wakefield):
John, 1806-
George, 1808-
Robert, 1812-1879 (all information readily available on this man)
Mary, 1815-
Eliza, 1818-
Joseph, 1820-
Sarah, 1822-
Ann, 1826-
Septimus, 1828
I know that there is a son missing between John and Robert, more probably between George and Robert, going by the dates of birth. We have a letter from Robert to his cousin, stating that he is the "fourth son of George [her father's brother]" of Birkenhead, formerly of Wakefield. I can only find 2 sons prior to Robert. As there is a Septimus (currently No. 4) son, it makes sense that there should be another somewhere after Robert and possibly after Joseph - again, going by dates of birth and having a 'sensible' portion of time between each child. Having searched many places for these last links in this particular nuclear family, I am at a loss as to where to proceed from here. Any ideas, please?
FYI: We have most of the information on George (the father of this family) and Mary - apart from her date of death (although probably 3Q1851, registered Nantwich).
