Tracing a nun in Clacton in the 1920's
« on: Friday 12 May 17 11:50 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace a nun who moved from an orphanage in Ireland to a convent in Clacton. I have found St Clare's convent & Our Lady of Light-Missionary Franciscan sisters, but I can't find when they were established.

Sorry, can't help, but I've just spotted a newspaper headline which has a photo of an old Clacton convent being demolished.
