Have you tried Dobinson's book on HAA Defences.  I think it has a Gazeteer of sites and may list those for Liverpool.

Second I would try the Kew files for Western Command Areas/Districts which covered Liverpool.  They often list units arriving/leaving or those in the area, including Anti-Aircraft units.
I have only just seen this, thank you. Are the Kew files accessible online do you know?

No, these files from Kew are not yet digitised (little from WWII is) and so only available from Kew.
