Marmaduke AISH South Carolina
« on: Monday 15 May 17 08:43 BST (UK) »
Hoping SKS can help.
I have a Marmaduke AISH in Dorset England in the1720s /1730s he married Mary EDMONDS in 1723 Netherbury Dorset England and they had a son Edward born 1726 in Bridport Dorset. Mary wife of Marmaduke AISH was buried 1730 Bridport Dorset England. Marmaduke possible married again in 1733 Charlton Mackrell, Somerset, England to Margaret HAM. I was wondering if he is the same Marmaduke AISH that died in 1749 South Carolina. Is there any records that indicate where he was from.
Thanks Leonie

Part of the will of Marmaduke Aish mentions a son Jonathan Aish - did your Marmaduke have a son of the name Jonathan Aish  ???  Wished to be buried according to the form of the Church of England  ???

Thank you for looking at my post Rosie and Sandra.
Hi Rosie just wondering where your info came from? I have access to the Netherbury parish records and I cannot see a burial for Marmaduke AISH /ASH 18 Jan 1731.
Sandra not sure if he had a son Jonathan at the moment. The name Marmaduke AISH/ASH is not a common name so if not the same person then they are possibly related somehow.
Thanks Leonie
