No you've been a big help! Ok, sorry i thought she had john and mary annes marriage cert but its johns original birth cert, so thats no help.  On Mary Annes birth cert - the informant - it says -  father John Dykes , under occupation it says 'Groom' ? (what would that mean)

Groom - cares for horses.  He was working on a farm according to the Inquest file.
