I can't read the name of the merchant marine ships from 1929 in New York City.    Can anyone make them out?

Writing is very hard to decipher on personal details.

Can you tell us when/where born, if he was in Merchant Navy/Navy or other please & where based when on his shipping journeys, Port/County/Country?

The next ship I think is the Angeles.

I'm not sure of the last ship, but the name looks to be repeated more or less directly opposite on the RH page:  S/S A_______

Can you possibly make a higher resolution image of the area wherein the ships are named?
