Comparing two photos: same Vorberg girl?

I have two photos attached. One is known: there are three children on a postcard that is labeled on the back "Compliments of Helen, Hazel, Howard Vorberg". Hazel b 1906 and Helen and Howard are twins b 1909. They are first cousins of my great-grandmother Anna Vorberg Blake. I would guess this photo was taken around 1912.

The other photo is of a first communion (found in the same box of photos from my grandfather's side of the family). It appears to be Hazel but wanted to send this out to someone who might have a better idea perhaps based on the clothing.

Mmmmm not convinced about what you say about pic. 1 as the children look different ages also the dropped waist style was something seen from the war years.

Hi and welcome to Rootschat...I'm not sure that it's either of the girls in photo one. I not sure that the dates fit.

Could the communion photo be of a girl from the next generation?  I agree with Carol that I don't think it's the same girl as on the postcard.

From just 'eyeballing it', the  2 photos are just too different (age, perspective) to detect any resemblance between the two. Nothing in the 2 photo suggests that it's the same person.

I know for sure that the picture of the three children are those three children. It is written on the back in pencil in longhand and was mailed as a postcard to their cousin (my great grandmother). I know their birthdates for sure, too. The first communion photo was the one I was stuck on. Found in the same box of photos, all from the same side of the family (my grandfather's family), and the other side of the family (Blake and Dawes) are all light eyed and fair skinned. I thought the round face and nose and eyes seemed to fit with the Vorberg side. But I know definitely I am correct on the first photo. Thank you for your input.

I would guess the twins in the first photo are older than three, so Jim is probably correct (- he very often/usually is!!    )

Could they be as old as 6 to 8?  Hmmm not sure about that, but I do think older than three.  I think they could, making it early war years.

With the others, I am not sure the first communion person is Hazel.

Is there a dated postmark/stamp on the back of the postcard?

The second girl could be a more distant relation - cousin, niece, daughter of family friend, etc, etc ....
