Again the 1819 birthdate  does not tally at all with the records of convicts.

Try 1812.

The other baptism I can see is

Joseph Hextall 27 Mar 1812, Redmile, son of Joseph and Elizabeth

Looking a head, on transportation,

Occupations
Joseph....brickmaker
William...butcher

I did find the trial online a while ago, but didn't save a copy as Joseph  wasn't the direct relative I was looking at.  I did note that he was convicted of 'molesting a cow'

details I have for him are/..
William Thomas Hextall was tried and convicted on 3nd Jan. 1837 for stealing two cows and sentenced for life. (Age 22) His 'Native Place' was recorded as Sapcot (presumably Sapcote) His 'Trade' was "Butcher, Plowman, Labourer, Shepherd."
His description was: fresh complexion, sandy hair, hazel eyes, no markings.
He was sent out on the "ELPHINSTONE" in 1837. It left London 29th May, 1837.
Arrived Hobart 2nd Oct.1837. (Elphinstone 2 142)
His record as a convict of that voyage states:
Transported for stealing two cows. Received a "Good report" on his trial. Connections believed respectable.
Hulk report good ONE CHILD Stated this offence: Stealing 2 cows.
MARRIED XXX  WIFE MARY AT STONY ARTIFORE???poss Warwickshire?

Stony Stratford maybe?

I read the case with the attack on the cow, he hit two of it's legs with a piece of wood and shattered the bones. it died two days later.

Hey everyone. Does anyone have any information about Joseph hextall born 1819? My neighbor has had his family tree done and this joseph has come up on his family tree. The joseph hextalls parents names were John hextall and Catherine. Is anyone on here related to these people too.
