Re sinann
Yes ,it's strange Jane was married in 1904 ,and she states she has 2children in 1911 census.
Also strange how Mary the mother gives her birthplace as India but in 1901 it's Galway. I can't find any births of
Mary Mooney in Galway 1830 to 1855.                        Robbie.

Yes, it's George that has two children.
Looking at the handwriting and Mary's signature I don't think she filled in the return so India is possibly an error, in 1901 her husband John does appear to have filled in the return so you would expect he would get her birth place correct.
You would need to know where in Galway she was born to know if parish registers survive for that parish.

I just notice an interesting little thing, John has a distinct way of writing his d in Kennedy, Mary has written it the same way in her signature in 1911.

Yes my mistake there .sorry.
It's amazing the way peoples ages and addresses and even where they are born changes.
Can you make out what George gives as his birthplace  India and ??????.

I think that George has written India & Foxrock but no idea why
but there is a place named Farour in the Punjab?

George KENNEDY m Bridget LYNCH on Jun 25 1904 (some info here previously given by dathai)
 LINK

I wondered if he was referring to where his children were born but not so:
George Thomas Jun 03 1904 (noting date) LINK and
Thomas Aug 10 1906 LINK

Bridget KENNEDY died on Jun 18 1907 LINK

Thomas seems to be with his LYNCH grandparents  in 1911 LINK
and this is possibly George in hospital (#46) with diphtheria LINK

Thomas 1906 at North William St

died 1906 at Henrietta Place

I'm not sure that the death on Sept 16 1906 is the same child although the name and address is correct. The age given was 7 months and George's son Thomas was born on August 10 1906 making him just 5 weeks old. Also the fact that George stated that he had two living children in 1911

Jane Kennedy is unmarred in 1901 but still with the name Kennedy is down as married 7 years in 1911.

I wonder is this because she is with her parents and all the children's names were shown as KENNEDY and the enumerator did not notice the fact she was also shown as married?

Thanks myluck  that's a good find on the hospital one.
Funny thing on George's marriage June 04 Father's occupation is clerk .in Jane's just a month later father is army pensioner and a month later fathers death he is a storeman. I'm assuming he was British army in India but it seems usual that he was able to marry and have 3 kids there. He obviously didn't see much action. (In the field anyway)
