Charles Philip York MCKENZIE (Thomas' son) married Elizabeth STEVENS in Mudgee area on 23 Sep 1873 (3132/1873 ).

As you said he died on 7 Oct 1881 in Mudgee (8827/1881)

1881  Edgar M  (birth registered at Rylstone)

Elizabeth remarried to Edmund MISSEN in 1882 at Mudgee. She died in 1921, an obit here:

Charles James (son of Charles) was apparently a well known jockey. He died at Gulgong in June 1912 (6084/1912 ). Obit here:

Florence Margaret (daughter of Charles snr) married Colin KIRKNESS in Mudgee 1895 (5267/1895 ) and died at Bondi in 1951 (23585/1951) Death notice here:

Thank you Ros, Jamjar and Maddys52 for the great information. It gives me some leads to follow up.  It's interesting to note some of the family moved to the Mudgee district as I had come across Mackenzies from that area in earlier searching - just wasn't sure if there was a family link.  Appreciate all your help.
