Have you got access to An***try?  There is a tree on there for James born Dorset, married and died Staffordshire. It has 10 records and 11 sources, maybe worth a look.

A huge thank you to everyone for being so kind to look up and share information with me. I greatly appreciate your time and effort in trying to help me.
I managed to see the Catholic marriage records on Find my past. The record of James Taylor and Sarah Bentley was witnessed by a DANIEL TAYLOR and MARY SUMMERFIELD.

It doesn't state what relation they are.

I guess I will need to check the Anglican records to see if the Witnesses are the same and if it gives any more details.
