That's usually my problem. 'O' level Maths - failed.

If I've found the right Margaret Forbes baptism she was baptised 1825 Newcastle, parents William and Elizabeth.

Wow, a morning at work and home to find all these replies. Thanks to you both for helping. Certainly all food for thought. I'm begining to wonder if any of them emigrated as can't find any records after about 1841 so may pursue this  :-\

Yes they were married on June 8th 1841 in the parish of Gosforth, Northumberland. Susanna's residence was Quayside and her father is James Burns, weaver. They were married in the presence of James McIntyre, (his father I'm assuming) and John Ferguson.

so does it state her father is deceased when she marries I can see her down the Quay side in 1841
not far from where she lived in the Close with her parents

No it doesn't say James Burns her dad is deceased.
