William Meechan baptized 1880
« on: Friday 30 June 17 13:00 BST (UK) »
William was born 8 Aug 1879 yet baptized 10 Mar 1880 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenock.
Do you know what the initials P.M. near his name would indicate? I've given another example of others with P.F and P.M.
Also, the word 'lawful' is omitted. Thank you.

Sorry I don't know what PM stands for, but the word "lawful" looks like it was omitted because the parents do not appear to be married (at least not in Scotland).
