Perth Scotland photo

Hi there,
I found a photograph of my grandma Margaret Ann Cundall/Stephen in 1947 in Perth @ summer show.

I'm assuming it's Perth in Scotland not Australia and would love to know how I could find more about identifying the show that she was possibly in or if she was at a show?

My dad said she was a dancer and I would love to find out more background information about this too.

Can you tell us a bit more about her connections to Perth, Scotland please?

Birth/marriage/parents/address or whatever info. you can provide.

When/where did she marry as she may have had her occupation as Dancer on her marriage?

"Margaret Ann Cundall/Stephen"...is Stephen her married name?

I also know of the surname 'Kundl' from Perth, Scotland (a variant possibly for Cundal/Cundall)?

Perth Theatre may be the place if Perth Scotland?

Do you know when she went to Perth, Australia to narrow possibilities?

Hi There,
I finally got a laptop and scanner to attach the photo of my nana Margaret Cundall.
On reverse it says "Three Muskateers in Perth, Summer show 1947. Hazel, Betty & Self (Margaret Cundall).

Margaret Ann Cundall born in april 5th 1929 in Leeds to Robert & Minnie. She was a speciality dancer and lived in 11 lingwell square in leeds 10 Yorkshire.
She toured the uk as a dancer and think maybe the girls are her dancing partners. My auntie said Betty was one of her best friends and married a Sandy (A.C) Mcfarlane. Margaret married Henry Alexander Stephen in 2nd april 1960. Henry A Stephen was born in Aberdeen and so Mgt might have met him up there when she was touring.

There's this listing for 1947. The only one that is listed as Perth is James Currie's Entertainers but they don't seen to be listed individually in the details (click right)

From the Dundee Evening Telegraph 3/6/1947. The show appears to have run from the beginning of June to the second last week in August.

In June 1947 according to the Dundee Courier "The Summer Show" at Perth Theatre was Variety starring Jimmy Wallace. The ads don't mention other performers.
