« on: Friday 07 July 17 21:50 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I'm wondering if somebody would have a look when they are next in the archive at an inquest record for James Males. died 3 may 1909.

I saw the record on the Hertfordshire.gov site.
ive never seen a inquest/coroners record before so just interested what is included.

Doc ref: Off Acc 244. James Males. Sarratt. died 3 may 1909. Apoplexy.

thanks in advance

Hi Rachael

The survival and content of coroners records is hit and miss.

Apoplexy is an old-fashioned name for a stroke or cerebral haemorrhage.
