Need Burial Info on Maud Harley 1877-1959, Fulham
« on: Monday 10 July 17 11:26 BST (UK) »
I am asking for help on locating the grave of Maud Harley, who died at what was called Fulham Hospital in 1959 (now Charring Cross I think). Lived in Fulham most of her life.

Born Maud Elizabeth Harmer, 1877 in Norfolk. Married Percy Charles Harley in 1898.

Already tried asking the hospital but they're unable to help & cemetery association for the area asks too high a price to do a search in their cemeteries for her name. I know she's gotta be in the area but don't know where exactly. Hoping someone can help who lives there or has knowledge of her.

Any help very much appreciated.

What was her address at death, not necessarily the  hospital address
She might have died in Fulham but her home address could be in another area in London

I was searching The Times in case there was mention of it in there - no luck but I did find this
The Times Tuesday, Mar 28, 1939

Parents sent to Prison
Percy Richard Harley and his wife Alice Maud Harley of Hartington Road, South Lambeth were each sentenced to 3 months imprisonment at South Western Police Court yesterday for neglecting their child ............. so as to cause her unnecessary suffering..........................................

Maybe a relation  :-\

No sign of her or Percy on deceased online.  Local newspaper may carry a report of the funeral.  :-\

I contacted the Fulham Library this morning. Have yet to hear back. Will see what they say.
