Awesome info!!  Thanks so much!!  I really appreciate it.

For the household record in Kärna...can you resend the link?  It was the same as her moving in record.  I tried to decipher the farm and poked around in the 1834-1839 household record but could not find her and her son Jonas.

Thanks again,

Paul

I think I found it.  Page 96 in the 1828-1834 household book.

But no luck in the following household record book (1834-1839).  Did she die?  Or can you find it?

Sorry about that. I didn't see my mistake. I am at work this evening so I can't help you but if you have found the right page just continue to the next book and hopefully you will be able to continue from there.

Hi Ian:

And now I'm stuck on someone else....Anna Lena Andersdotter born 26 July 1797.

Here she is in Kaga (1822-1830) with her 2 daughters Johanna and Stina Maja:

https://app.arkivdigital.se/production/index.html?aid=v26172.b108.s97&page=main/index

I believe the farm is called Smedstugan.

The next household record book jumps from 1830 to 1855.  Is there any way to find out about her?  I mainly want to find her death date.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul

This should get you going again. You'll see quite a large family there:
Östra Harg AI:8 (1831-1835) Bild 130 / sid 118 (AID: v26574.b130.s118, NAD: SE/VALA/00485)

Also, if you are interested:
Johanna Andersdotter's marriage 1840 nr5:
Östra Harg C:5 (1822-1860) Bild 13 / sid 19 (AID: v42702.b13.s19, NAD: SE/VALA/00485)

Johanna's household 1885:
Östra Harg AI:17 (1881-1885) Bild 207 / sid 194 (AID: v26584.b207.s194, NAD: SE/VALA/00485)

I found Anna Lena Andersdotter through her daughter's moving records.

Wow!  This is amazing. Thank you for taking the time to trace their movements from different angles. I am directly related to the other daughter, but I am still interested in building out the family tree. Both daughters were born illegitimately but I don't think there's anyway we can find who the father was.

Thanks again,

Paul
