Will have a look around for further details for you but Rootschat isn't a forum for tracing living relatives and we aren't allowed to post details of anyone living, or possibly living. It's explained in the Help Pages (link at top) under Posting Guidelines  :)

Owen Boyd, married, appears in 1891 census in England without wife and children and in 1901 census he (married) and children also in England. The following article may explain why-

Northern Whig, 2 Apr.1894: The case of the woman Mary Boyd, who has been in the Newry Workhouse for the past month as a lunatic, and for whose removal to an asylum Mr. Henry Turner, R.M., and Mr. Erskine, J.P., refused to sign a warrant on the grounds that she was not a dangerous lunatic, was again brought before the Board. The Clerk stated that acting on instructions of the Board, he had written to the husband of the woman, Owen Boyd, and he had attended at the Workhouse on Saturday week, but having seen his wife he refused to take her out. He (the Clerk) had a letter from Boyd, who was at present in Newcastle-on-Tyne. The Master (Mr. Wauchope) said that on Saturday evening week the husband of the lunatic Mary Boyd came to take away his wife, and when he saw her mental condition he refused to do so. On Monday last he returned accompanied by Dr. Mills who examined her, but could not certify her a lunatic. A long discussion ensued and eventually Mr. Sinclair said it would be better to instruct the Clerk to write to the Local Government Board to send down their inspector to hold an inquiry. Ultimately, however, it was agreed to write to Owen Boyd, the husband of the woman, that if he did not come and take his wife out of the house, the Guardians would prosecute him.

Couldn't find any more details in local papers about Mary, or a death in Newry area) but perhaps she died in England. It's possible she was eventually admitted to an asylum with some illness easily treated nowadays.

Hello,
Once again, thank you very much. I do so appreciate your kindness.
I apologize for not reading things fully.
There is one correction I need to make.
Margaret (Gibson) Boyd was born between 1790/95. I am presuming that
William Boyd was born around the same time line, give or take a couple of
years. I was sad to read that Owen's wife had such medical problems.
A question would be who had or was taking care of his children there in Ireland while
he was in England in 1891? Is there a marriage record for Owen and Mary McAvoy?
I wonder if, the children remained in England and married or returned to Ireland?
I truly thank you !!
Kind regards,
MWarner

I did a bit of searching for Owen Boyd's marriage to Mary McAvoy but didn't have any luck so far.

Family members could have helped look after the children, especially in Owen was working in England, but it's quite possible they were split up with one or two going to a relative (perhaps some to McAvoy connection and others to Boyds). Assuming that Mary was well until after James' birth in 1891 and only became noticeably ill around 1894 they older children might have looked after the others. In 1894 John was about 19, Margaret 17, David 15, Mary 13, Patrick 11, James 3. Maybe a relative took baby James (not with father in 1901) and the others lived with their father in England (older children were with him in 1901).

David John Boyd married 1906 Isabella Drysdale
1. David John Boyd (6 Sept.1906-1982)
2. Agnes Jane Boyd (c1909-1967) m.(1933) George Dowson

FreeBMD shows other possible children (father Boyd, mother Drysdale)- https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
Also 4 probable children of Agnes Boyd & George Dowson but getting into possible living people so can't post here

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you, and appreciate you. I have so much to learn.
There are so many clues, that can hold more family information. Like with baby James,
most likely stayed in Ireland? Stayed with some family members Boyd/McAvoy. Would you
please be so kind to look and see if you find him? I would greatly appreciate it.
I still need to find William Boyd son of Owen who was living in Belfast in 1898.
Thank you for all you have done for me !!
Kind regards,
MWarner

I did search for young James Boyd here but wasn't able to see a likely death or 1901/1911 census entry. Have you looked for him in England?

I still need to find William Boyd son of Owen who was living in Belfast in 1898.
I had William as a brother of Owen's from what you originally posted and did searches for him based on similar age to Owen. I didn't find a son for Owen named William. Have I read your post incorrectly?

Hello,
And thank you for all that you have done for me. I appreciate it.
I will post in the UK side and see if they can find him. I didn't know
if one of his siblings took him, or if he was of age by the time of his
father's death or perhaps went back to Ireland.
Now for James Boyd son of Owen Boyd, I got that from the 1901 census
record posted to me here. James age 10 in 1901 living in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Owen was listed as working in shipyard.
Other children listed as:
David J., John, Patrick, Mary and James.
~~~~~
Then I will need to find William Boyd (son of James and brother to Owen)..
William living in Belfast, Ireland in March 1898 when he received monies from
his uncle. I do not have anything on him.
~~~~~
The other son of James Boyd that I am looking for is Hugh Boyd.
Sorry, I have no dates on any of them.
~~~~~
I am trying to figure out the possible dates of birth for the following:
Eliza Boyd (full name I found out was Margaret Elizabeth Boyd b: abt 1825?
James Boyd ? My question would be are there any 1821, 1831, 1841, 1851
census on line for the Newry Parish area? If so perhaps they could be found in
them? The children of William and Margaret Boyd that I do know are:
David, Samuel, Margaret Elizabeth (Eliza), Mary and James.
~~~~~
My third great grandparents are:
William Boyd b: c: 1790-1800.
Margaret Gibson b: c: 1790-1800. Marriage in Newry Parish area is unknown.
I was hoping to find their marriage record or at least a birth of one of their
children with Margaret's maiden name just to verify for sure that she is a Gibson.
Once again thank you for everything.
Kind regards,
MWarner
