Strange how we see different things . Where you see a bus shelter I see a stall for (possibly) a Christmas Market. It appears to have a chimney  :-\

I did wonder about a stall as it was brightly lit  ;D

I thought stall too but I'm just getting more confused by the minute with this painting  ;D

Been snowing as there is snow on the roofs! What sort of date do people think - pre WW2 about 1930?

How on earth did you spot snow groom  ???  Well done !
Going by the cars 1920s 30's is my guess.

It's a similar style to Lesser Ury.  I've googled his paintings and don't see this one, but wondered if it came from the same sort of area.  Mainly Berlin.

Not much help but I think it's a Bus rather than a Tram as I can't see tramlines?

I also think the painting may have been from a photo or that queue didn't move for a long time  ;D

I've changed my mind about Berlin now.   Have looked through pages of 1920s photos, and it doesn't really look the same.
