Lydia Such/Dickenson
« on: Wednesday 26 July 17 22:02 BST (UK) »
Hello

Lydia was Lydia Dickenson before marrying Stephen "Such" (1908-1981),

Lydia was born in 1913 and died in 2013,
she had 5 sons and 1 daughter and lived in Winsford for most of her life.

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm trying to find out who her mum and dad are?
I'm at a brick wall!

THANK YOU :)

You would need her birth certificate to find out her parents

Is this the right area for her birth registration

Note her mothers name is also Dickenson which usually indicates an unmarried mother  :)

The new GRO Index search shows Mother's Maiden Name.
However, the entry for Lydia shows no MMN - again usually an indication of an illegitimate birth.

As already stated, you need to get the birth certificate.
Interestingly, there is a 21 year old servant with the same name in Winsford in 1911.
