That's quite funny he was a blacksmith as we have horses  struggling to find a birth for John Willis in Ireland in 1812

Ireland is a large place and without knowing which county John was born in or his father's name is a difficult search.   I wonder if her married his wife Sarah in Scotland??

I think he did as on the later census' it says she was born in Scotland

This may be incorrect but in 1851 John's wife Sarah lists her birthplace as Ireland

Unfortunately I cant find a Marriage England/Ireland/Scotland.
Not surprising though as before Civil Reg in all Ireland/Scotland.
