Thomas Newman McIntyre 1846-1918
« on: Monday 07 August 17 19:44 BST (UK) »
I would like to find out anything about my Great Uncle Thomas Newman McIntyre.
He was a police constable in Victoria and was involved in the stringybark creek
incident with Ned Kelly in 1878.Would it be possible to find out the names of his family
when he arrived in Austrailia as this would be a great help with my family history
Thankyou

His death certificate would detail his time in Australia which may help identify his arrival.

There are three possibilities for his arrival - 1862, 1865 and 1867.  All with nationality Irish and occupation labourer.
