I have just discovered that I have a great great uncle, my g g grandmothers elder brother .
Richard was born in York Yks, started life as a bookbinder and joined the military 1n 1830 He was posted to India , where he married Elizabeth Priscilla Crossley and they had five children . In 1850 he died and my question is what happened to his family , did they return to England ?
I would really like to know more about them, even though they are not closely related , be grateful for any news . Tiptop .
