Thank you - I've been looking too.  Samuel just appears in Dublin in 1847 at his marriage, so trying to find out about Mary to see if they link up.

Thank yes I have it along with his wife's and most if their children. He just dries up prior to 1847 eve n though there are other Panton baptisms recorded in Dublin in the 1820s.

Does the death cert give his age father's name? If you can give me the details, maybe I could have a better look.

Thank you Gadget - he died in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire in 1899 at the asylum.  He was aged 70 but the census shows he was born in Dublin c. 1824-1830.  Sadly, no father's info is mentioned even on his marriage in 1847.
