For Sam W and anyone else interested - Elizabeth Mary Henderson
« on: Wednesday 16 August 17 17:21 BST (UK) »
This lady lived at Park Lodge, Castle Crescent, reading.  She died in November 1900 and is buried with her husband Charles in Reading Old Cemetery.  In her will she asks to be buried with him and "my little daughters" - the first I've heard of them - and so I'm keen to try to find her grave and any headstone details.  She had two sons - Charles Edward Turberville Henderson a successful lawyer (died 1917) the other Frederick Arlesey Turberville Henderson (died 1919) a bankrupt who was in and out of the workhouse for the last ten years of his life.  They may also be buried there and Charles was briefly married with his wife dying young, 24 in 1911.  Elizabeth refers to being buried in"our brick grave at Reading Cemetery".  Any info would be very welcomed.
