Alfred H Taylor 1871 census

I have some information on Alfred but i need the 1871 census . The info I have is he was in Lancaster Lancashire and he would be about 19yrs being born in 1852 (+ - 1yr). I have a note his father may be dead by then but not confirmed.May I have a lookup on that census/. Thanks

Familysearch has Alfred Taylor aged 19 born Lancaster, as step son to head of house John Gardner.
Wife Sarah plus 3 young Gardner children. Also 4 other older Taylor step-children, -  Joseph, Richard, Samuel and Jane.
It looks as if you are right that Alfred's father had died, and his mother re-married.

The younger Gardner children have mothers maiden name Coates

Is there an Alfred Herbert Taylor aged 19 there it doesnt match with what I had for the 1861 census which is

he was a shoe manufacturer and ended up having a factory in Manchester so the shoemaker links in I may have to go back to the drawing board.
