I would like to find out why Hilda and Vera didn't live with their mother Florence.  Florence was my grandmother. I have looked on family trees. I think there is some secrets here!!!

What happened to Florence? Did she split from Robert and move on to a new relationship?

When and where was that (and what was Lancelot's surname)? The more you can share with us what you know, the better we will be able to help you.

Maybe I'm clutching at straws. I would like to know more about Hilda and Vera, haven't long found out that these were my father's half sisters. I don't even know if he knew, my father or my grandmother never talked about them. My parents and grandparents have long passed away, so sad. Why the mystery?

Have found Hilda married Edward James R Harris in 1939, I don't seem to be able to find anything about Edward apart from b1907 m1939 d1971. Who was his parents and did he have any siblings?  I haven't found any children for Hilda and Edward either.
