LDS database has a Gertrud Agnes Gier born 1843- parents Joseph Gier & Elisabeth Hansen:

Quite a few other children of Joseph & Elisabeth also on same site.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I have already found that. I was hoping to get more information. hopefully something that may have her parents age or birth year

You said Gertrude was born 1840 but the one I found was Gertrude Agnes born 1843. Possibly the earlier one died and parents used her name again.

A marriage record may have the ages of bride and groom but if it exists it may not be online.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
