The family info does seem to add up.
Haven't answered the original question, the man we've been looking at served a total of 23 days in the Mespotamia theatre. The brigade he served with there is not recorded. His medal entitlement was to the British War Medal and the Victory Medal, he also received the Silver War Badge for his medical discharge.
His 1910-19 record needs more analysis. Usually, the record shows the brigades an RFA man served with but in this case the record of the brigades and places where he is supposed to have served don't add up. Example, he is appointed acting Bdr with 79 Brigade (?) in May 15. That brigade was in France with 17 Division, his record says he was in India. That may indicate that the record is showing the batteries he served with, a more complex task to cross check those against the brigades and the dates given the propensity for batteries to be moved between brigades! The AFB 200 is a copy which may indicate that the clerk took some short cuts while copying it.
