First thanks to all for the assistance.
1841 has William as an Ag:Lab 28 in county. Sadly the 1841 seems to wrong about his place of birth.
1851 (HO107/1856, Folio 222, Page 3, Schedule 12).
William aged 44 a gamekeeper: Hants Isle Of Wight.
Sarah aged 38 born Dorset.
William son 16 Ag:Lab born Wales (What on earth ?)
Their daughter Hannah (b.1847) is my wife's ancestor. (Hannah's parents on her birth certificate are William Legg Gamekeeper and Sarah Legg formerly Andrews) born Grange, Steeple, Dorset.
William Legg and Sarah Andrews must have been parried C.1831. and the census' put his birth C.1806
William died 1962 in Steeple and Sarah 1864 also in Steeple.
If this is the marriage, William Legge's father was also a William

If that's the marriage one or both of them must have had children from a previous relationship.
I have no idea of this marriage at this time but it's a good find to have.
Just to confirm Sarah's maiden name -
Josiah Legg (on 1861)
q4 1854, Wareham and Purbeck

Yes this Josiah has the same parental details of Hannah. (I have the certificate here).
So was she Sarah Andrews? Married in 1838? Do you have the marriage certificate?
I'm sure that Sarah and William were married about 1831.
There is an earlier marriage for William Legge, father William, at Winfrith Newburgh - to Hannah Andrews on 5 August 1829,
I've seen this about 10 minutes ago whilst typing this up.
I also had to google Winfrith Newburgh and found it is close to Steeple too
.
