Hi,  this photo has gathered a few creases and and blotches over the years.  Vel Anderson, 2nd from the left and her cousin, far right were at the "Palais" the local dance hall in February 1945 when this photo was taken.

Any improvement would be very much appreciated.

Good morning all (well it's a cold but sunny morning here in Victoria, Australia),

Now that I've seen all the great black and white results, I think that the addition of colour would be nice as well, if anyone wants to have a go (having seen MarynS's lovely version). 

Vel, 2nd from the left is wearing a fawny coloured dress with bronze beading, and her flower broach is crystal diamante.   Fay, far right, was wearing black with dusty pink scallop collar. 
Vel's eyes blue and Fay's were hazel.  The serviceman was wearing an air force uniform.
