Workhouse Records COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 02 September 17 17:19 BST (UK) »
I have been looking at an entry in the admissions for Poplar Poor Law Union for one of my ancestors. In the remarks column I'm pretty sure it says 'From Lang House'. Does anyone know what or where this is? I have no idea whether it refers to a street or place name, or an institution of some kind. Any assistance gratefully received.

Many thanks in advance :)

If it relates to a child, and if it's after 1903, it could be the Langley House Children's Receiving Home.

It was 1913/14 so that would make perfect sense. Thank you so much Bookbox  ;D
