Strokestown has been suggested but I really don't know - I feel it must be misspelt for the original but hope to locate a birth there

Bit of a guess but could it be Knocktown?  Bit of an odd K but have seen a few strange ones before! The n in Ireland is written in a similar way to what could be Kn.
